About Naznin
Naznin Hasan Chumki’s creative journey began in Chuadanga, before she moved to Dhaka in 1996 for higher education and professional training. While studying Political Science at Jagannath College (now Jagannath University) on the night shift, she immersed herself in theatre and performance during the day.
Her early association with Desh Theatre Group laid the foundation for her disciplined approach to acting and storytelling. She made her television debut in 1999 through the TV play Parijat and the serial Jete Jete Abosheshe, aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
From television, she naturally transitioned into films, theatre, and later into scriptwriting and direction—evolving into a complete creative professional.
